1. RHS Garden Bridgewater, Salford
The Secret Life of Pumpkins trail runs throughout October, with a full pumpkin garden trail, carving sessions, and craft activities scattered across the grounds. It’s a good one for younger kids who want space to run around rather than queue for rides. Worsley, easy to reach if you’re coming from Salford, Bolton, or Wigan.
2. Heaton Park, North Manchester
Spook in the Park brings a full funfair to Heaton Park, free entry, with waltzers, ghost trains, and a pumpkin patch alongside it. If your kids are a bit older and fancy something more adventurous, Zip World’s Treetop Nets also runs a Halloween scavenger hunt through the trees here, ages 3 and up.
3. Reddish Vale Farm, Stockport
